This VW Bus was parked on the street in Key West. This is not an optical illusion caused by the camera angle - it is very short.

Short VW Bus in Key West, front view.

The split windshield and larger re ar window indicate that it is a 1964-67 (the 1963 had a small rear window).

Why do I feel like this would do wheelies and stoppies pretty easily? And honestly I kinda want to go push it over. Not out of spite - but just because it looks like you can.

Yes, it looked somewhat unstable. That rear engine would make the front end very light.

I’ve actually seen one like it around here. I have a picture somewhere. Was that a custom thing people did?
